The town of Langley on charming Whidbey was a great cycling destination from Coupville. Also charming. The Country Cottage was a perfect place to stay. We loved the large jetted tub in our room.
A gem of a place to stay in Langley! We felt so welcomed and comfortable the entire stay. The room is nicely sized and comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious. We loved that traditional touch. The hosts are outstanding and kind. The location is convenient to town. Would absolutely stay here again!
What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast! The hosts were helpful, the location perfect and our rooms cozy. Breakfast was delivered to our doors and we all ended up eating at the gazebo together. The dahlias were in bloom and all around the property, with cut ones in our rooms to enjoy. A peaceful retreat!
I stayed at this property in early September of 2023. The location is excellent, especially the proximity (walking distance) to Langley amenities. The cottages are set in a lush, well-planned garden. The cottage I stayed in was extremely comfortable, featuring so many thoughtful details to help one feel at home. Breakfasts lived up to the excellent reviews, and it was very pleasant to have an outdoor seating area to enjoy breakfast in fine weather as well as the comfortable living area in the cottage if outdoors was not an option. The owners were pleasant, welcoming and helpful. I would happily stay here again.
My family had a fantastic time at the Country Cottage! We rented out 2 rooms for my birthday weekend, and Jackie and Tom were wonderful hosts. Their breakfasts were delicious, and they even brought me a tray of birthday cookies as a treat. The property is so charming and well-maintained (we saw deer wandering in the yard virtually every time we stepped outside), and is a quick walk down the hill to the main drag with lots of cute shops and restaurants.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for the perfect peaceful getaway. Our cottage was comfortable, clean and decorated so beautifully. The private garden was quiet, and the deer were outside every morning to say hi. Jackie and Tom are so friendly, and Jackie makes an amazing breakfast delivered to your door in a picnic basket. If you're looking for break from the stress of everyday life, this is the place to go!
I stayed in the charming cottage for 3 nights in July. The location is ideal, with easy access to downtown and the marina attractions. The room carries a delightful old-country charm, complete with a Jacuzzi, fireplace, shuttered windows, and a lovely flower-filled porch. Tom, Jackie, and Carol made a wonderful team in looking after me during my stay — from recommending various restaurants and shops, to lending me warm clothing for the unexpectedly chilly summer weather, to ensuring a warm breakfast arrived on time so I could attend my workshop.
